Following a quick pick-up from your hotel, set off with a licensed guide on a 2-day trip to Kom Ombo, Edfu, Aswan, and Abu Simbel.
During the tour, enjoy a trip to the historic Temple of Horus in Edfu, listening to Egyptian history and ancient mythology along the way. Upon arrival at the Temple of Horus, explore the sandstone structures depicting Horus, also known as the God of Protection.
Next, head to the Kom Ombo Temple, built in honor of the deities on the eastern side of the Nile River. Learn about the structure of this temple and how it was built in honor of Horus and Sobek, two great deities of their time. After sightseeing, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan before enjoying some great shopping. At the conclusion of the first day of the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Aswan for an overnight stay.
Upon awakening, when you are full of strength and energy, you will be picked up from your hotel in Aswan and sent through the Abu Simbel temple complex. First, admire the massive stone temples upon arrival. Secondly, do not forget to take some memorable photos during the historical tour. After visiting the temple, head to Aswan for a delicious lunch. After lunch, head to the Aswan Dam. Later, head towards the Philae Temple, located next to the Aswan Dam. At the end of the 2-day tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in El Gouna.
