Full Description Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul:

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Soma Bay at about 03:00, after which you will go to the Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul. On the way, you will pass the cities of Ras Gareb and Ain Sokhna. Finally, you will arrive in Zaafarana. All these cities are located north of Soma Bay, on the shores of the Red Sea. The way from the center of Soma Bay to the monastery of St. Anthony will take about 4 hours.

Program at the Monastery of St. Anthony
Once you arrive at the Monastery of Saint Anthony, your guide will accompany you on your guided tour. The monastery of St. Anthony is surrounded by a huge wall. But inside this huge wall, monks and the abbot live. We definitely recommend exploring the complex: alleys, chapels, and gardens.

Later, after visiting the Monastery of St. Anthony in Zaafaran, you will enjoy lunch.

Program at St. Paul's Monastery
You will then drive about 40 km back towards the Monastery of St. Paul. Accordingly, the journey will take you about 40 minutes. Do not forget to take memorable photos during the excursion.
The journey continues at the Monastery of St. Paul. Although this monastery is smaller than the monastery of St. Anthony, it also has some treasures and great significance. Explore treasures such as altars, icons, old pulley, and coffins. This coffin contains the remains of St. Paul.

Departure to Soma Bay
At the end of the tour Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul, you will head back to Soma Bay after such a program at the sacred Coptic monasteries of Saints Anthony and Paul.
