It was built on the other side of the Nile in Aswan and built between 1960 and 1970, and it had a great impact on the economy and culture of Egypt.

Unfinished obelisk

The largest obelisk of antiquity. It was ordered by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) to complement the Lateran Obelisk (which was originally in the Karnak Temple) and was later taken to the Lateran Palace in Rome.
Philae temple

The Philae temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis of love and beauty. The temple complex was dismantled and moved to the nearby island of Agilikia as part of the UNESCO Campaign for Nubia project, to protect it and other complexes before the Aswan Dam was completed in 1970.

After that, you will have lunch and check in into a 5-star hotel for the night.

Early morning you will take breakfast, then check out from the hotel and join your private tour guide to visit the ancient archaeological site of the Abu Simbel Temple:

The Abu Simbel Temple, with its unique style, is a masterpiece of ancient Egypt. It reflects the glory and majesty of the New Kingdom. Two of the huge rock temples at Abu Simbel. The twin temples were originally carved at the foot of the mountain during the reign of King Ramses II in the 13th century BC, as a permanent monument to him and Queen Nefertari, in memory of their victory at the Battle of Kadesh.
