Giza pyramid complex
The complex includes three main pyramids, six small pyramids, the great sphinx, and the Valley Temple. The complex dates back to the 4th dynasty 2400 years before Christ.
The great pyramid
The Great Pyramid belongs to “King Khufu”. It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau and the only one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World that remains intact. The height of the great pyramid is 147 m, the number of stones used in the construction is 2,300,000 and it took twenty years to build.
The great sphinx
The Great Sphinx belongs to “King Chephren” It is the largest statue in the world, 73 m high. long, 19 m. wide and 20 m high. It is the oldest monumental sculpture known.
The Valley Temple
A granite mortuary temple used by the ancient Egyptians for the mummification process and this is the only one left on the Giza plateau.

Temples of Abu Simbel
The two temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. Temples are rock-cut structures, both built during the reign of King Ramses II 1200 BC. One temple is dedicated to King Ramses II and the second temple is dedicated to his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari.

The final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to 20th dynasty, it houses tombs that include the great pharaoh Ramses II and the child pharaoh King Tutankhamun. Colossi of Memnon
Two huge stone statues of King Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made of quartzite sandstone blocks that exist in Cairo and then moved 700KM to Luxor.
